A grade 3 classroom challenge to build a cardboard game inspired by Caine's Arcade. Students will use the engineer design process or the simplified version as noted in the Day of Play info and they will develop their competencies of character, creativity, critical thinking and more!
We open up a cardboard area in our class for kids to work on all week putting out a plethera of supplies.
We will be running special cardboard engineering activities during our school holiday camp 'Invention Lab'. Participants aged 6-12 will work together to design then construct life size cardboard circus tents (using the MakeDo) following a number of criteria and constraints.
