DESCRIPTION:Our 4th and 5th graders will be given cardboard and other recyclable/reusable materials to use in designing\, building\, testing\, and finally sharing arcade games inspired by the documentary film\, “Caine’s Arcade”. The lesson will span 3 weeks and the students will ultimately show off their creations at the school STEAM night later in the spring. Students work in teams of 3-5\, and are encouraged to use the engineering design process throughout their experience. Students work in 3 one-hour sessions over the span of 3 weeks.
