The Children's Museum of the Magic Valley will host a community event, where families and businesses will come together to build and play cardboard carnival games. SHMS STEM students will also have creations on display that they created the week prior.
We are inviting our friends to our house to build a cardboard arcade.
The Cardboard Challenge celebrates play, imagination, innovation, and teamwork! This event is free and open to the public. All materials are provided; cardboard, duct tape, trophies, and box cutters. All you have to bring is your imagination. It is not necessary to pre-register but we do ask that children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Our MakerSpace is going to participate in the challenge. We are on intercession when the day of play is set. Our club will display their Cardboard Creations in our school library starting October 10-14. We are also annoucing the Carboard Challenge so other students may participate if they would like.
We will be building games and/or turning a cardboard box into something amazing. We will be doing this over the course of a few weeks.
EXCEL students in grades 3 & 4 will create arcade games to celebrate the Day of Play!
