The fifth grade students are putting on a Cardboard Challenge for the students in grades K-4. They will be working in small groups to design arcade games. They are learning the Engineering Design Process and will use that to construct their game.

Playground Themed Cardboard Challenge
The Children's Museum of the Magic Valley will host a community event, where families and businesses will come together to build and play cardboard carnival games. SHMS STEM students will also have creations on display that they created the week prior.
We are inviting our friends to our house to build a cardboard arcade.
The Cardboard Challenge celebrates play, imagination, innovation, and teamwork! This event is free and open to the public. All materials are provided; cardboard, duct tape, trophies, and box cutters. All you have to bring is your imagination. It is not necessary to pre-register but we do ask that children are accompanied by a responsible adult.
